	Our Data Recovery Process


	We analyse the media to determine the success rate of recovery, which may be priced separately from the actual recovery of data.
	On completion of analysis, we quote a fixed price for the actual recovery of data and will only proceed on acceptance of the quote.

COST OF ANALYSIS

The analysis phase to determine whether the data is recoverable may be very intensive. If the storage media is physically or mechanically damaged, the media has to be opened and components need to be replaced, followed by a calibration process etc.


	We charge an analysis fee based on the following conditions:

Media with no mechanical damage

Media with mechanical damage

RAID 0, 1 & 5 Disk configurations

Backup tapes & cartridges

CD / Floppy / ZIP Media / USB

No cost for analysis

R1 140.00 (depending on drive capacity)

The pre-analysis as well as the actual recovery may only be quoted on, once we've diagnosed the configuration and possible cause for data loss.

COST OF ACTUAL DATA RECOVERY
On completion of the media analysis, we are able to determine whether the data is recoverable and will quote you a fixed price for the recovery before we proceed. Each situation is unique and is difficult to determine time and cost without analysis..

CONFIDENTIALITY
Imperative Technology will use Customer information to fulfill the engagement only, and will otherwise hold the Customer information in the strictest confidence. Any confidential information disclosed by the Customer shall remain the sole property of the customer and Imperative Technology guarantees not to disclose any information to third parties.
