What are the steps I should follow once I've lost data?
Please do not use any utilities to attempt a recovery. Many utilities will change the structure or geometry of the drive or file system. Corruption of the data may also take place. Using recovery utilities will certainly reduce changes of successful recovery. Switch off the machine and contact us for advice

Is there a cost if the data recovery was unsuccessful?
The diagnosis fee is applicable as per our Data Recovery processes but there is no charge on the actual recovery if unsuccessful.

On what format do I receive my recovered data?
In most cases the data is written to CD/DVD, but in the case of large volumes of data we suggest you supply us with a hard drive which we'll make bootable and copy the recovered data to.

How do I ship my hard drive or other media?
Where possible, wrap the hard drive in anti-static material.  Pack the hard drive in a sturdy cardboard box twice the size of the drive, with bubble wrap or foam. Ship the media to the following physical address:
